Copper Hills Women

Becoming More Like Jesus, Together

We want everyone—single or married—to find a LifeGroup to belong to. If our current schedule doesn’t fit yours, there are great ways to connect through our gender-specific ministries.

At Copper Hills, our women’s ministry welcomes women of every age and background, helping them experience the love of Jesus and grow in relationship with Him.

We aim to equip women to:

  • Love one another as Jesus loves us, becoming more like Him and increasingly mistaken for Him.

  • Build meaningful connections so we can “bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).

  • Unwrapping Joy: How the Wonder of Jesus Transforms our Christmas Expectations

    Date: December 13th
    Time: 10-12pm

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’” — Luke 2:10 (NIV)

Christmas has a way of stirring up expectations—of how things should feel, look, or unfold. We long for peace, joy, and family fun, but often get caught in the chaos, comparison, or even disappointment of the season. Yet the first Christmas shattered expectations in the most glorious way: a humble feeding trough holds the Savior of the world, born not in splendor but in stillness.  Let’s open our hearts to the wonder of Jesus, who still meets us today—right in the mess, the quiet, and the unmet hopes—to offer unexpected joy and unexplainable peace.

    Food will be provided.

Leader: Anita Gerdes

Get Connected
  • Are you a quilter or a wanna-be quilter? Do you have a sewing machine that collects dust, but you would like to learn to sew items like pillows, aprons, or bags? Would you want to reinforce what you have learned in sewing classes at the Center for the Arts? Maybe you are interested in weaving, knitting, crocheting, fabric collage, or any other fiber arts? Or maybe you desire a reason to connect with other women?

Open-sew sessions for women of all ages and skill levels will meet Friday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 in Room 207. We will provide basic supplies for ironing and cutting. However, you will need to bring your own sewing machine. (An elevator will take you up to the second floor). We can help you find a project to work on.

Please sign up below if you are interested. There is no cost to you, but the registration helps us plan. It will also keep you informed about special opportunities and schedule changes.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
