It’s time to stop worrying about money! The nine-lesson Financial Peace University (FPU) course is the proven plan to help you pay off debt, make a budget and build wealth! Dave Ramsey and his team of financial experts teaches every lesson with biblical wisdom, and you’ll get support and encouragement along the way. FPU includes your workbook and a free year of Financial Peace Membership, as well as an online toolkit to support your journey. Contact Dennis Horcher at 801.201.4949 for more information.
Why do I need FPU?
Statistics show that 70% of all households live paycheck to paycheck...so you probably need this class! Debt (usually credit card debt and student loans) is the single leading cause of marriages to fall apart. Add to that, there is a tremendous lack of financial literacy among adults today. Basic household finance is not taught in school (nor by many parents to their kids), so the result is that debt is considered normal and natural in our culture...it’s not!!
What does the class consist of?
FPU consists of a one hour video by Dave Ramsey, then about 30 minutes of follow up questions and discussion of the lesson just viewed. If you follow what Dave teaches, you will get out of debt, learn to budget and start saving money. FPU also teaches you about insurance, negotiating, mortgages, investing etc.
I listen to Dave on the radio and have read some of his books, so what benefit is the class to me?
Information and/or knowledge is one thing...putting it into action and making that action a habit is another. This class teaches you to make changes in your life to effect real change in your financial life.
Does FPU really work?
It works...the past 3 years at CHC, our FPU classes have paid off a total of $362,000!
Is my financial information confidential?
YES! At no time do you ever divulge your personal finances. Any and all financial information is anonymous and is only measured as a total class two times throughout the course.
